Impacting Hormones with Nutrition

Virtual Nutrition Talk for balancing hormones of pre-teens, teens, young adults, and those transitioning to male OR female menopause.

About This Recording... Our hormones can affect every part of our life no matter what age. They can cause problems with energy, mood swings, food cravings, memory and concentration, muscle cramps, sweating, anxiety, tension and irritability. They can even change how well your digestive system works . Imbalances of female hormones can mean PMS, endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, infertility and the wide range of symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause. And the way our hormones work can affect our weight and body shape. They can contribute to weight gain particularly around the middle of our bodies which can then increase our risk of heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, Alzheimer’s and breast cancer. Hormones can also give us cravings for certain foods.

This talk is very engaging and choc full of great nutritional information!
